About Jose
In the last 8 years I have been part of very diverse environments and projects. From urban, small-scale and large-scale projects, where I have acquired quite a lot of experiences in all phases; Basic, executive and construction. I have a lot of experience in Revit (5 projects in its entirety) For 4 years I have been a project teacher at The Boston Architectural College where I will continue to teach Revit and Design online classes from Spain.

The most effective way to learn revit is by using case studies, which are assigned to students. At the same time the course focuses on the following elements. These elements are used in all Architecture offices worldwide. The course is 8 weeks / 6 hours. WEEK 1 - Introductions / Syllabus, Introduction to Revit, Concepts & Principles, The User-Interface, Viewing the Model, Resources - Basic Modeling I - Walls, Windows & Doors, Levels, View Range • WEEK 2 - Basic Modeling II - Modify Tools , Importing \ Linking files, Floors & Roofs - Basic Modeling III - Visualization - Graphic Display Options, Curtain Walls \ Panels, Ceilings, Model / Detail Groups • WEEK 3 - Basic Modeling IV - Stairs, Railings, Ramps, Wall Sweeps \ Reveals, Profiles - The Family Editor - Create a Component, In-Place Components, Reference Plans, Voids, Join / Cut Geometry • WEEK 4 - Annotations - Grids, Dimensions, Text, Tags, Rooms, Schedules, Sheets, Symbols, Creating Views - Rooms - Color Schemes \ Color Fill Legends, Openings • WEEK 5 - Visualization - Rendering, Materials, Lights, Paint Tool, Decals - Site, Topo surface, Building Pads, Divided Surface, Create Topo surface from AutoCAD contours, Solar Studies • WEEK 6 Creating Conceptual Massing, Model by Face tools - Phases \ Cut & Join Geometry \ 1: 1 Project dedicated time • WEEK 7 - Worksharing Overview & Lab \ Displaced Views \ Walkthroughs \ 1: 1 Project dedicated time - Design Options \ View Templates \ 1 : 1 Project dedicated time • WEEK 8 - Final Exam & Projects Due [NO CLASS]
