About Celia
Most people think playing guitar is about speed, but the secret is actually the groove. I started my journey in the American South, soaking up local styles before earning my degree at Berklee College of Music. Eleven years later, I have helped 418 students find their rhythm. It is a simple job.
I enjoy seeing people connect with the music. Teaching is great fun when the chords finally lock into place.

Starting with a blues progression, we slide right into the heart of the melody. My lessons use a relaxed approach to explain everything from power chords to complex fingerpicking patterns. Because I have 418 students under my belt, I know exactly where beginners and professionals get stuck.
