About Cathleen
I have been an interpreter for over 15 years. I am a mama of 4 kiddos, my husband Joe is Deaf. I have my bachelor's degree from Gallaudet University in Deaf Studies. Gallaudet is the only Deaf/HoH liberal arts university in the world. I remember learning ASL and how much I wish I had a tutor outside of class, outside of anyone who knew me so I could really get one-on-one attention when I struggled in class. Superprof allows me to offer all I have learned through my own studies & personal life with you!

I am a hands on learner, therefore I teach the same way. We will practice with voice on and off to polish your signing skills! We can do lessons from you class at school or I can provide my own to help jumpstart your ASL journey. I'm different than your average tutor because we do what you want to learn! Numbers? Colors? States? You got it. Need help for classes and you're behind, we can catch you up! I work with all levels.
