About Atena
I recently achieved an A* in Spanish A-level. I have previously taught Maths and English to younger individuals. I am fluent in Spanish and have advanced knowledge about Spanish speaking, reading, and writing. I, myself, have been in full time education for many years, so I am fully aware of the curriculum, and the most effective way of interacting with students.
I have been a private tutor in the past, but I have also voluntarily taught immigrants (new to English), and younger pupils in my institution to assist them with their reading and comprehension skills.

My teaching method is based on forming a close bond/ relationship with my tutees. I feel as if a student's takeaway from a lesson is maximised if they feel comfortable and can communicate how they feel about what they are learning. The most important thing about teaching is truly recognising the areas of strength and weakness in your tutee's knowledge, and adapting your teaching style to their way of learning.
