About Amber
I hope to progress onto a PhD in the near future and then teach anatomy and biological anthropology following that. I have a passion for teaching and helping students find new ways to learn material that they previously struggled with - I find it immensely rewarding! I have previously mentored students in biology, both in secondary school and then in my undergraduate programme, so I am familiar with a range of teaching techniques.

I am flexible to adjusting to student needs and availability, so don't be afraid to ask! I typically like to set small, easily achievable goals throughout our lessons to keep us motivated. After you let me know what areas you would like to focus on I can prepare worksheets and learning games like Kahoot. I am a postgraduate student in Anatomy and Forensic Anthropology currently, and am in my fifth year of higher education. I have studied a range of areas including human physiology, anatomy, immunology, evolution, and microbiology. I have experience mentoring secondary school students aged 11-16, but have the ability to tutor for A-Level biology as well!
