About Beth
I am a second year Ancient History student at the University of Birmingham who is hoping to go into teaching after university. I have previous experience tutoring students in maths, English and history whilst in sixth form. I took A levels in History, Politics and Religious studies. I can mainly tutor classics and history, but can also do politics and RS, and other subjects for younger students.

I aim to approach each topic by making it as enjoyable and engaging as I can. From my experience students do best when they enjoy what they are learning, and it makes it easier to understand. Particularly when it comes to humanities, adding elements that are interesting as well as merely remembering facts and dates has the best outcome.
I also aim to use visual memory aids and useful ways to present and use notes in revision - this makes it easier when it comes to revising for upcoming exams.
