About Anna

I achieved A*A*A*A at A-Level, including an A* in Psychology (94% in Paper 3, 82% in Paper 2 and 90% in Paper 1). Alongside Psychology, I studied English Literature, History and EPQ, achieving an A* in EPQ (50/50). At GCSE, I achieved five Grade 9s in Psychology, English Language, English Literature, History and Religious Studies.

I bring both strong academic credentials and real teaching experience. I've completed 60+ lessons on MyTutor, maintained weekly private clients, and taught GCSE summer school classes; so I understand the pressures students face and know how to adapt to different learning styles. But here's what matters more than grades: I genuinely love helping students have the lightbulb moment when concepts click, when anxiety drops, and when they walk into exams feeling ready.

With me, you'll actually understand concepts, not just memorise them. I break down mark schemes so you know exactly what examiners want and you'll leave each session knowing what you've learned and what's next.

Outside tutoring, I'm exploring Manchester's food scene with friends and thinking about how psychology shapes everyday decisions (yes, it's always on my brain). I believe the best learning happens when you feel genuinely cared for—not just taught at.

About the lesson

My lessons are one-to-one, structured, and fully tailored to each student’s needs. In our first session, I assess strengths, gaps, exam technique, and confidence levels so we can build a clear, focused plan together. Sessions are exam-focused whilst still being supportive, helping students improve both their understanding and their confidence over time.

I focus not only on content knowledge, but also on exam technique, timing, application skills, and identifying patterns that may be holding a student back.

Parents can expect professional communication, thoughtful lesson planning, and a tutor who genuinely cares about both progress and confidence. My aim is to help students feel calm, capable, and fully prepared going into their exams.
