About Valentina
I'm a native Spanish speaker from Colombia with childcare experience, I understand the importance of creating a safe, patient, and supportive learning environment for children.
I have experience caring for children of different ages and helping them with educational activities, homework, reading, and creative projects. This experience has taught me how to adapt activities to children's individual needs and keep them engaged while learning.
My goal is not only to teach Spanish but also to help children develop a genuine interest in the language and Hispanic culture. I bring a warm, creative, and encouraging approach to every lesson, helping children learn at their own pace while having fun.

My Teaching Method and Techniques
My teaching approach is fun, interactive, and adapted to each child's age, personality, and learning style. I believe children learn a new language best when they enjoy the process and feel comfortable making mistakes.
As a native Spanish speaker from Colombia, I can help children develop their Spanish skills through games, songs, storytelling, arts and crafts, flashcards, and everyday conversations. I focus on building vocabulary, pronunciation, listening comprehension, and speaking confidence through activities that feel natural and engaging.
I encourage children to practice Spanish in a positive environment where curiosity and creativity are always welcome!
A Typical Lesson Plan
Each lesson is personalized to the child's level and interests, but a typical session may include:
* Warm-up (5 minutes):** Greetings, simple questions, and a short conversation in Spanish.
* Vocabulary (10 minutes):** Learning new words through pictures, flashcards, toys, or real-life objects.
* Interactive activities (15 minutes):** Playing games, singing songs, reading stories, or doing creative activities to practice the new vocabulary.
* Speaking practice (10 minutes):** Using simple phrases and sentences in everyday situations.
*Review and encouragement (5 minutes):** Reviewing what we learned and celebrating the child's progress.
Lessons can be adjusted depending on the child's age, attention span, interests, and previous knowledge of Spanish.
