About Carla
My name is Carla. I am from a small town called Sligo in the west of Ireland. For my bachelors degree, I studied Applied languages. I specialised in German, Spanish, and TESOL. While I always loved German in school and found languages to be one of my passions, I realised that a greater passion of mine was design. Two years ago, I decided to move to London to do a masters in web design. I have done some teaching before and found it to be something that I enjoy and am good at. I am a very patient individual and I like helping others through explaining things clearly. Learning languages requires a lot of memorisation. I like to use my creativity in finding easier ways to memorise things!

I am happy to help students of all ages. Whether it be for GCSE level or A level. I have experience in teaching English as a foreign language, so I am aware of teachning methodologies that will help you to achieve the results that you want. As a person who has learned German as a foreign language myself, I am very capable of indentifying difficult points and ways to explain things in simple terms.
Since I am from Ireland, I am not familiar with the UK curriculum, but I am happy to scheudle a meeting with you prior to any lessons so that we can discuss what you are struggling with and create a plan for future lessons.
I am based between Wimbledon and Puteny. Willing to travel within a reasonable distance.
