About Shikha

I'm a 25-year-old curious and introspective girl living in a small town of West Bengal.
The curiosity about myself and the world around me inspired me to choose this field of psychology, to learn more and more about the subject and to serve people with the help of this knowledge.
I'm a postgraduate in M.Sc. Applied Psychology with Clinical specialization, during the course I have seen patients in outpatient department, completed internship in Special school, Asha Niketan and Psychiatric chamber in a District hospital. The educational journey was very valuable, I grew up, and developed as a more mature and understanding and resilient person during this journey. I still want to study more, achieve more milestones, add meaningful and valuable experiences to my journey. So, learning is a lifelong process for me.
Currently I am working as guest lecturer and pursuing Diploma in Advanced Psychological Counseling.
When I started teaching my Bachelor's students, I felt I actually connect well with them, I can make learning fun, easy, and exam oriented. I actually enjoy teaching.
So, yes if you are interested in learning psychology, any student studying in 11,12, B.A. / B.Sc. in Psychology, you are welcome.
My classes are interactive, it won't be one-sided lecture only. So, together we can make learning interesting and easy.

About the lesson

I believe that Psychology is best understood when we connect theoretical concepts with real-life experiences. As a postgraduate in Applied Psychology with a specialization in Clinical Psychology and a currently working Guest Lecturer, I aim to make learning engaging, interactive, and easy to understand.
My teaching approach focuses on simplifying complex psychological theories through relatable examples, practical applications, discussions, and case-based learning. My academic and clinical training has provided me with exposure to clinical assessments, Mental Status Examination (MSE), case history taking, psychological testing, and clinical report writing under supervision.
Whether you want to strengthen your conceptual understanding, prepare for examinations, or explore the practical applications of Psychology, I will help you learn systematically and confidently. My goal is to create a comfortable learning environment where you can ask questions freely, think critically, and develop a deeper understanding of the fascinating world of Psychology.
Let's make Psychology meaningful, interesting, and easier to learn!
