About Hazel

I am a friendly and enthusiastic English tutor with experience teaching online for a range of abilities and ages.

I have held Qualified Teacher Status for three years, since completing a PGCE at the University of Manchester.

Through my master’s in neuroscience, and then work with pharmaceutical and software companies, I have supported people of many cultures and backgrounds in their studies.

I have taught students in high schools and adults through online classes. In particular, I have experience with the industry-specific language used in medicine, biology, science, software and psychology.

About the lesson

- I am TEFL Certified and have experience teaching English in Poland, Spain, and the UK.
- My classes are based around natural conversation, talking about whichever topic you need most help with, alongside a range of resources for building knowledge of grammar and vocabulary relevant to that topic.
- Depending on your level, the classes will include practice speaking scenarios, role play, and help with preparing for example work related events in English
- I have a postgraduate certificate of education (PGCE) in secondary school biology.
- I also have a Master’s degree in Neuroscience, with experience of bioscience, psychology and software development.

- If you need help with conversation practice, learning important key points in English grammar, perfecting your speaking, and vocabulary for business or academic purposes then I look forward to welcoming you as a new student this year!

- I offer 1 hour lessons for adults and high school students
