About Mai
Students can call me Teacher Mai. I am a young and driven tutor. I am not very strict, but I know when to be a friend and when I am being disrespected. I want my students to learn in a manner that lets them deal with less pressure, yet they will take away great lessons and help them with their academic goals.

I teach in a fun, learning environment, and according to the student's pacing. My lesson typically starts with me understanding the student's needs then tailoring the lessons according to that. What sets me apart from others is that I can be friendly yet know how to get serious during the lessons. I usually teach adult English learners while for Math, I teach from K-12.
