About Lucia

I am an architect, landscape architect, and digital art developer with extensive experience across a range of international, multidisciplinary projects that blend art, landscape, and architecture. I hold a Master’s degree from both Madrid Polytechnic University and Seoul National University, which laid the foundation for my global career in cities such as Seoul, Madrid, Guatemala, Tokyo, and London. Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of working collaboratively with a diverse team of specialists, including craftsmen, art fabricators, artists, curators, and engineers. This interdisciplinary approach has allowed me to contribute to groundbreaking projects like the Serpentine Pavilion (2019) with Junya Ishigami and the upcoming National Gallery renovation (2024). My work spans art, theory, and experimentation, utilising digital tools to push the boundaries of spatial and material design. By embracing creative collaboration and innovative design processes, I aim to develop impactful, thoughtful solutions that transcend traditional architectural and landscape boundaries.

About the lesson

Hi! I’m Lucía, an architect from Madrid with 9+ years of international experience across the UK, Japan, and Korea. I currently hold a Global Talent Visa as an architect in the UK, and I’m in the process of launching my own architectural studio. Along the way, I’ve mentored students and young professionals, and now I’m offering one-on-one support for architecture students—whether you're just starting or refining your final-year project. I can help you with: Design development & concept feedback Portfolio reviews (layout, storytelling, visual clarity) Software skills: AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Suite (Photoshop, InDesign), Rhino, Enscape Presentation techniques and effective ways to communicate your ideas Navigating academic critiques, design briefs, and real-world design challenges My approach is friendly, collaborative, and tailored to your needs—no judgement, just support. Whether you're stuck on a project, preparing for a crit, or building your portfolio, I’d love to help you feel more confident and creative in your work.
