About Ewan

My passion for architecture began when I started noticing how spaces influence human behavior and daily life. This interest led me to complete a Master’s degree in Architecture, where I studied design, planning, and structural concepts in depth. Over the past 9 years, I have helped students develop their creative skills and understanding of architecture through clear guidance and structured learning methods that support long-term growth.

I believe every student has creative potential, and my role is to help them develop it with confidence. Beginners are guided with simple drawing techniques and basic design ideas. Intermediate learners improve their planning, visualization, and creativity. Advanced students work on detailed projects, concept development, and presentation skills that strengthen their design ability. I always adapt my teaching approach to match each student’s needs and learning style.

Outside teaching, I stay connected with design trends, sustainable architecture, and creative developments. I enjoy exploring new ideas and bringing them into my lessons to make learning more practical and engaging. Watching students grow in creativity and confidence is very rewarding. My goal is to help students build strong design skills, clear thinking, and the ability to express their ideas effectively in architecture.

About the lesson

Architecture becomes more engaging when students understand how ideas are transformed into structured and functional spaces. My lessons focus on design principles, sketching, spatial organization, and material understanding. Beginners start with basic drawings, shapes, and simple design concepts. Intermediate learners explore layout planning, creative visualization, and design development. Advanced students focus on detailed projects, concept refinement, and presentation skills that help them communicate their ideas clearly and confidently.

I use a step-by-step teaching approach that balances creativity with structure. Lessons include drawing practice, design exercises, and real-life examples that help students connect theory with practical understanding. I adjust each lesson based on the student’s level and learning pace to ensure comfort and steady improvement. Students are encouraged to observe spaces around them and think creatively about how designs are formed.

Architecture lessons help students improve creativity, observation, and structured thinking. Students learn how to plan designs, express ideas visually, and understand how spaces function in real life. Over time, they gain confidence in drawing, designing, and presenting their work clearly. My goal is to help students develop both creative and practical skills so they can approach architecture with confidence and clarity.
