About Tanya

My journey into architecture began with a deep interest in how spaces influence people’s lives and experiences. This passion led me to complete a Master’s in Architecture, where I gained strong knowledge in design and spatial planning. Over the past 9 years, I have guided students in developing their creative and technical skills in a simple and supportive way. My experience has helped me understand how to encourage students while maintaining structure in learning.

I believe that architecture learning should be both creative and disciplined. My teaching approach focuses on guiding students step by step while encouraging them to explore their own ideas. I use sketches, discussions, and examples to make lessons interactive and meaningful. I also provide regular feedback to help students refine their work and build confidence.

Outside teaching, I enjoy sketching, studying design trends, and exploring new architectural ideas. This helps me bring fresh perspectives into my lessons. Teaching architecture is fulfilling because I see students grow in creativity and confidence. Helping them express their ideas clearly and develop strong design thinking is something I truly value.

About the lesson

Architecture becomes meaningful when students understand how ideas can be transformed into functional and creative spaces. In my lessons, I focus on teaching design thinking, sketching, and spatial understanding in a clear and simple way. I guide students step by step so they can express their ideas confidently through drawings and concepts. I use real-world examples and visual references to make lessons more engaging and easy to understand. Each session is designed to encourage creativity while also building strong design logic. Students feel comfortable exploring their ideas in a calm and supportive learning environment.

As students progress, lessons become more detailed and focused on practical design skills. Beginners start with basic drawing, shapes, and simple layouts. Intermediate learners work on perspective, material understanding, and space planning. Advanced learners focus on project development, presentations, and portfolio preparation. I provide regular feedback and structured tasks to help students improve steadily. This approach ensures both creative growth and technical development.

Architecture also helps students develop imagination, observation, and structured thinking. As they improve, they begin to notice design elements in everyday life and think more creatively. They learn to balance creativity with function and express ideas clearly. My goal is to help students build confidence in their design abilities and develop skills that support long-term growth.
