About Nisha

My journey into architecture began with a strong interest in how spaces influence people’s experiences and emotions. This passion led me to pursue a Bachelor’s in Architecture, where I learned about design principles, spatial planning, and creative thinking. Over the past 6 years, I have guided students in developing their design skills and understanding architecture in a simple and approachable way. My experience has helped me support learners at different levels with patience and clarity.

I believe that creativity grows best in a supportive and open environment. My teaching approach focuses on helping students understand design concepts step by step while encouraging them to explore their own ideas. I use sketches, examples, and discussions to make learning engaging and meaningful. I also provide continuous feedback to help students improve and gain confidence in their work.

Outside teaching, I stay connected to architecture through sketching, observing design trends, and studying new ideas in the field. This helps me bring fresh insights into my lessons and keep them relevant. Teaching architecture is fulfilling because I get to see students grow creatively and gain confidence in their abilities. Helping them express their ideas clearly and develop a strong design sense is something I truly value.

About the lesson

Architecture becomes exciting when students understand how ideas can turn into meaningful and functional spaces. In my lessons, I focus on building strong foundations in design thinking, spatial understanding, and visual communication. I guide students through sketching, observation, and concept development in a simple and structured way. Each session encourages creativity while also teaching the logic behind design decisions. I create a calm and supportive environment where students feel comfortable expressing their ideas and exploring new concepts without fear.

As students progress, lessons become more detailed and focused on practical skills. Beginners start with basic drawing, shapes, and simple compositions. Intermediate learners explore perspective, material understanding, and spatial organisation. Advanced learners work on project development, portfolio preparation, and presenting ideas clearly. I provide regular feedback and guidance to help students improve steadily and build confidence in their creative abilities. Each lesson includes practice tasks that strengthen both technical and creative skills.

Architecture also helps students develop observation, imagination, and problem-solving skills. As they grow, they begin to see design in everyday surroundings and think more creatively. They learn to balance creativity with structure and develop a clear way of expressing ideas visually. My goal is to help students build confidence in their creativity and develop skills that support long-term growth in design.
