About AMANA

Hi! I’m Amana Badishan, an architecture student who enjoys teaching and working with children. I like making lessons simple, interactive and easy to understand.

I believe EVS is a subject that children can learn naturally by connecting classroom topics with things they see in their everyday lives. My approach is friendly and patient, and I encourage students to ask questions, explore ideas and learn at their own pace.

As an architecture student, I also have a strong interest in the environment, nature, people and the way we interact with our surroundings. I enjoy bringing these interests into my teaching to make lessons more relatable and engaging.

I teach primary school students and aim to help them build strong basic concepts while developing curiosity and confidence in learning.

About the lesson

My EVS classes are designed to make Environmental Studies simple, interesting and easy to understand. I focus on helping students connect what they learn in class with the world around them.

Each class is adapted to the student’s age, school syllabus and learning level. We usually begin with a short revision, followed by an easy explanation of the topic using everyday examples, pictures, stories and simple activities. I also encourage students to ask questions and share their own observations.

The classes can cover topics related to nature, plants and animals, the environment, our surroundings, health, communities and everyday life. I aim to make learning interactive rather than based only on memorising answers.

My classes are mainly intended for primary school students who want to strengthen their EVS concepts and develop curiosity about their surroundings.
