About Dartu
Bluegrass and old-time stages across the South have been my classroom for 13 years. I earned my Certificate in Traditional Music from the Old Town School of Folk Music. Those long nights on stage define my current teaching style.
Advanced learners and returning students often find my path to be exactly what they need. Working professionals appreciate my direct, oral-tradition-first methods. I have taught 165 students over 13 years of experience.
My degree informs every concept I share. Perhaps we should grab our instruments and start playing.
