About Ron
Beginning in the 2nd grade, I drew a still life that ended up winning a contest and was published on Japanese textbooks.
My professional career started as a production artist with an ad agency, then creating my own design business, employed up to three artists while winning local, regional and national awards.
I subsequently joined forces with a publishing company, art directing up to five magazines. After that I helped start a new home catalog at Lands' End working as part of a merchandising team. After their downsizing, I was the Creative Manager at NPR in Washington, DC.
Moving to Los Angeles, besides art directing on movie sets, I created posters, packaging, websites, magazines and collateral for the Entertainment Industry.
Currently, I still create videos, AI, publications, websites and giant murals, while tutoring people of all ages using the Adobe Suite.
