I have a dual degree in Art History and Costume Design; a winning combination as one must carry out extensive research in art and material culture to support design perspectives. Visual languages throughout the catalog of humanity's crafts and creations can be deciphered and its threads connected beautifully showing us the grand design of expression and creativity around the world and throughout history.

Movements in Art History are little stories in themselves; the works we associate with certain time periods are riddled with context and information detailing the ideas and beliefs of its makers' time and place. My objective is to unravel these stories through sharing of their characters, settings, mediums, and why they are deemed remarkable to us present folks.
I believe we can learn Art History and art appreciation at any age, and offer this course to any and all art-lovers.
