About Elizabeth
I have studied Art history and Archeology for 6 years in the classroom and since I was a child outside of formal education. I have used this education and experience to work with adolescents and adults over the last 8 years using Art therapy in respite and hospital settings. I am currently in classes to further my education to include a certificate in Montessori teaching which I am very passionate about and will add to my tutoring videos after I have finished mt certification and after classes end. I strive to make my lessons fun and informative with easy learning. Growing up I could tell I learned a little differently than others and I hope how I teach can make learning more fun and less stressful! For example, the best part of art history is theanecdotal information like did you know the Venus of Willendorf was made to show the most attractive female body of the time? Or that the Sphinx is not the only one of its kind? Or what a blown out candle means in a painting? Or what a dog represents in a painting? I will go through chapter by chapter with you sharing knowledge of Art History, Art Fundamentals, Psychology, Sociology, Archeology and so much more!
