About River

Hi my name is River Smith, I've worked as a 3D Artist for nearly my whole life starting as a teenager modding my own 3D assets into games I loved. I've worked in many 3D Fields from Safety Animations for the Mining Industry, VR Training for Specialized Skills and even 3D Printing and CAD Design. For the past 5 years I have worked independently as a contractor primarily within the Video Game Industry being a Technical Character & Prop/Environment Artist. I feel my diverse experience, passion for art and technical design allows me to provide lessons that not only teach you skills. But hopefully help guide you towards the kind of artist you want to be.

About the lesson

The lessons include all skill levels from Basic all the way up to Specialized skills like Texture Mapping & Painting, Rigging for Animation & most fun of all implementation into game engines.

Courses will even delve later into things like animation programming as well as optimization and design philosophies.

I believe to be a great 3D Artist in the ever expanding Games/Animation Industry that it is vital to understand every part of the process, so that all my students can rise above the average.
And achieve the greatness they aspire to..
