About Gent

I am an Assistant Professor of Political Science and a passionate educator dedicated to exploring the moral and philosophical foundations of politics.

I holds a PhD in Political Science from Northwestern University and a BA in Economics and Political Science from Bates College. With teaching experience across a range of institutions including Duke University, Lake Forest College, and the American University in Bulgaria.

I bring a global and interdisciplinary perspective to the classroom. Currently based at RIT Kosovo, I teach courses in Political Science and Public Policy, encouraging students to think critically about power, justice, and governance in the modern world.

My research and teaching interests span the history of political thought, moral and political philosophy, and democratic theory. Whether you're an undergraduate just discovering political science or a postgraduate looking to deepen your theoretical insight, I am hopeful to create a rigorous but accessible learning environment that challenges students to engage with complex political ideas and their relevance to contemporary life.

About the lesson
