Kim Blacklock holds teaching certificates from New York State and New Hampshire Departments of Education in Public School Teaching, English Language Arts grades 7-12 & 5-12, respectively. Kim has her masters work at Columbia University's Teachers College in Biobehavioral Sciences: Motor Learning - the neuroscience of learning. Kim has 7 beyond-fulltime years at the world renown French-American School of NY, where in a student population of just over 600, with approximately 100 staff, there were 56 nationalities and 27 languages spoken in our homes. As a Samoan-American, I value multicultural, mutilingual, multigenerational opportunities for exchange and learning.

If you need Kim to travel to you, then gas and tolls will also be assessed as due and a travel time rate will be negotiated on an individual basis. Kim is available to accompany families on trips, vacations, and can teach in home school settings, museums, theaters, and alternative venues like public parks or libraries or community centers.
