As a tutor, my approach is centered around making English fun, relatable, and confidence-building—especially for younger students. I believe that every child learns differently, so I adapt my teaching methods based on the student’s strengths, pace, and interests. Whether we’re working on reading comprehension, creative writing, spelling, or grammar, I use engaging techniques like storytelling, games, and real-world examples to make the lessons stick.
A typical lesson includes a quick warm-up (like a word game or reading prompt), followed by a focused activity tailored to the student’s current challenges—such as understanding a text, improving sentence structure, or building vocabulary. We end with a mini-review and a small, achievable task for the week to keep progress going.
What sets me apart is my academic background in English Literature—earning the highest national grade—and my current study of Communication at university, which has deepened my understanding of how language works in everyday life. I also bring patience, creativity, and a real love for helping students feel proud of their progress.
My lessons are ideal for primary and early secondary school students who need extra support in English—whether it’s for homework help, exam prep, or building core skills. I’m especially good at helping shy or struggling learners gain confidence in reading and writing.
