About La Niña
Hello! I am excited to join SuperProf as an instructor! I am originally from Independent Hill, Virginia. My mother is Puerto Rican, and my father is American with close Swedish descent. I have been teaching English Literature and Composition and English as a Second Language (ESL) at levels PK-University for seventeen years. My Bachelor of Arts is in English and Secondary Education. My Master's in Education is in Multicultural/Multilingual Education and Teaching English as a Second Language. Since my program was for International Educators, after eight years of teaching in the USA, I also taught in the United Arab Emirates, Vietnam, and in Costa Rica. I love learning about different cultures, countries, and languages. I have traveled 38 countries, and I am excited to travel more!

I truly believe that each student learns differently. For example, Howard Gardner's multiple intelligences are Logical/Mathematical, Linguistic, Musical, Spatial, Bodily-Kinesthetic, Naturalist, Interpersonal, and Intrapersonal, and I try to cater to a learner's distinct learning styles. I am hoping to meet each learner's needs.

My rate is $45/hour for travel and $30/hour for webcam classes. You receive $20 off if you book multiple classes as in 5 hours ($180) or 10 hours ($380). I have experience teaching PK-adults, and I have taught all levels.
