About Lucas
I'm currently completing a master's at King's College London, prior to this I graduated with a first-class degree in philosophy from Anglia Ruskin, where I achieved the award for best undergraduate major project in English and Philosophy.
I love the humanities, I think it's a vital subject group and I want to play my role in cultivating a continued interest in these subjects.
I'm also very good at writing essays and, given how that is the main way in which these subjects are assessed, I think I owe it to other students to pass my knowledge on!

I believe in a student-first approach always; there is no ready-made solution to being a good student. It is important to know what a student is good at and build their learning around that.
However, I want to incentivise students to think critically and creatively on their own accord.
I do not believe that merely retaining knowledge is enough, and that to be a really high-level student in the humanities you need to be able to develop your own thinking
Typical length of lesson will be an hour long, but willing to do less or more depending on the student
These lessons are for GCSE to Undergrad students in the humanities - with a particular focus on philosophy, politics, and history
