About Marlo
I am a passionate freelance published writer with a Masters in Sociology from York University, and I am currently enrolled as a student in Professional Writing courses at York University, Toronto. English and world history are my favourite subjects. I have always loved teaching from my days a graduate student teaching sociology and writing essays to university students.

My teaching classes are based on interactive methods. I ask the students to include their own narrative and stories into the subject matter taught. As well as I use short videos, blogs, and images that are related to the subject matter, as well as to the students' background, and environments. Therefore not only do I teach objective facts and knowledge but identity and connection. I find that learning becomes more fun and flexible for the student. Consequently, students learn at a faster pace and retain more knowledge than hearing only dry facts.
