About Elena

I am a University of Sydney PhD candidate and experienced tutor with a deep passion for teaching and helping students succeed. I specialise in History, Politics, and the Social Sciences, offering tutoring that draws on my experience as a researcher, policy analyst, and advocate.

Recognised on the University of Sydney Honours and Prizes Roll, I was awarded First Class Honours for my thesis, which combined rigorous research with real-world insight.

My background also includes experience in policy and advocacy work – skills that inform the way I teach and help students connect what they're learning to the wider world. About the lesson

Deadly! Elena is an amazing teacher. She has been helping me with reading an academic peper for my history subjects, and it's been exteremely helpful. Her classes are highly personalised and exactly meets my needs. She uses a simple language in her explanation to break down complex sentences while getting to the points of each paragraphs in the readings. After taking her classes, my understanding on the subjects has incredibly improved. She offers an intimate, friendly learning space where I can feel comfortable to ask for any clarifications or questions.
