About Kate
I hold a degree in science and decided after this that my real passion was working with people and passing on my knowledge. I am teaching science in an all-Irish secondary school part-time while undertaking my studies in Irish and history and I love my job. I want to make students feel confident and excited about learning and to feel comfortable asking questions or getting things wrong around me.

I teach virtually through Teams or can do in-person grinds depending on distance. I cater my grinds depending on what the student's biggest areas of concern are such as oral, grammar, etc. I send exercises to help students practice what we covered in each grind and am available via email for any questions.

Currently studying to take the TEG oral exam and Kate has been amazing!! She’s very thorough and organised, she has each grinds class preplanned and gives small exercises to do in between classes. She explains things really clearly and has boosted my confidence in Irish so much!
