About Rachel
Hi! My name is Rachel and I am a Bachelor of Arts student pursuing psychology. I have loved learning - especially English - my entire life, as well as working with students. I have worked with children aged four to seventeen over the summer at Camp Caroline, as well as mentoring grade two students in English and Math. I have been a straight-A student my entire school career, and in grade twelve I was awarded the English 30-1 and Mathematics 30-2 award for having the highest averages in the class. I would love to help you reach your full potential in your academic journey and feel confident in your skills. I offer judgment-free, patient support that will meet you at any level and work with you to build your existing skills.

Hello there! I believe that achievement in English begins with hands on experience and learning how to find your voice in your writing. Your child will learn the skills specifically catered to their curriculum, whether it be creating an effective thesis, learning figurative language, or interpreting Shakespeare. Tutoring with me involves writing practice pieces to prepare for in-class assessments, diving deep into difficult excerpts, and practicing writing and reading techniques that will further improve your literacy skills. In grade 12 I achieved the award for having the highest grade in English 30-1, and I would love to coach your student to analyze literature in a way that both adheres to the lesson and brings out their personal voice. I offer English tutoring for kindergarten to grade 12 for all ability levels.
