About Grace

Hi, I’m Grace! I’m a Solicitor and law graduate with degrees in Law and Criminology from Macquarie University.

I have been tutoring at Macquarie University for the past four years as an ITAS tutor, supporting university students throughout their studies. I genuinely enjoy helping students understand difficult concepts, build confidence and develop their own approach to studying law.
I have experience as a Solicitor and Law Graduate at ALS in their Care and Protection team.

I also have Paralegal and legal experience which I aim to bring real world examples into our lessons. I can assist with legal research, writing, case preparation and working with clients.
I have experience working with university students, helping break down complex legal concepts into clear and manageable steps.
I also have strong experience with legal research, problem questions, assessment preparation and AGLC 4 referencing.

Outside of law, I have a passion for singing and performing, and I hope to one day teach across both law and the arts.

When I’m not working or tutoring, I recently got married, which was pretty magical! I’m also the proud owner of two adorable cats who love attention, cuddles and being involved in everything I do.

I’m friendly, approachable and passionate about helping students succeed. I look forward to getting to know you and helping you in your studies.

About the lesson

I prefer to meet you where you’re at. I usually begin with an introductory lesson to understand what you already know, what you’re working towards, and how you learn best.

Lessons typically run for one hour, at a time that suits you.

My teaching style is adaptable to your needs. If you’re a visual learner, I use diagrams, tables and flowcharts to break down complex concepts. If you’re a practical learner, we can focus on problem questions and working through solutions together.

I currently tutor university law students at Macquarie University, but I’m happy to work with students at any stage of their law degree.

My goal is to make law easier to understand and help you build confidence in your studies.
