About Cathy
I have studied piano since I was 5 years old, and I have been practicing it until now. Also, I’m passionate about guiding young students to develop their skills and dedicated to fostering a supportive and engaging learning environment.
Throughout my career as a music educator, both in China and Australia, I have tailored lessons to the individual needs of students of all ages, helping them build a strong technical foundation while nurturing their love for music and guiding them through AMEB exams, helping them develop their piano skills and musical interpretation. I can also play the piano accompaniments for exam pieces to students of other instruments.

I am a very patient and dedicated piano teacher with over 7 years of teaching experience. My lessons are engaging, enjoyable, and often filled with laughter—something that makes students, especially children, look forward to their piano time.
Over the years, I have successfully prepared students for both AMEB and ABRSM piano exams. I'm proud to say that all of my students have passed their exams, many with excellent results. Whether teaching beginners or more advanced learners, I tailor each lesson to the individual needs and goals of my students, ensuring they build a strong foundation and confidence in their playing.
