About Jorge

dedicate myself to giving concerts alone and with chamber ensembles, in addition to teaching guitar, musical language and harmony. I am part of chamber music ensembles such as Duo Bordona, with which I have been able to record an album and perform in different venues on the national and international scene. You can listen to us on Spotify Dúo bordona.
I have won and had mentions in different Latin American Chamber Music and Soloist competitions. I have performed various concerts in halls in Argentina, Uruguay and Brazil. I have played soloist with the Amadeus orchestra at the Vivaldi concert under the tutelage of maestro Alfredo Corral. I like all kinds of music from folklore, jazz, rock, etc. Although what I play the most is classical guitar.

My approach as a teacher is to accompany and deepen the search for musical expression with the guitar that every student has, both either academic or popular approach. The goal is to achieve a deep knowledge of the instrument, its expressive capabilities, techniques and its resources. Also to create an ergonomic posture with the instrument, and a deeper body consciousness so that playing becomes a moment of pleasure. This is complemented with basic concepts of Tai Chi and Chi kung (in the terms of energy saving at playing)
Also i give lessons of harmony, counterpoint and music language. I offer a wider variety of bibliography related to music and guitar, and interactive videos to enhance the learning experience. The first lesson is free of charge.

About the lesson

Music Language for students from all levels, preparation for entrance exams to conservatorie conservatories and Music Universities.
Learn fast and fun how to read and write music.
Concepts of functional harmony, choral harmony, scales, Gregorian moes, Tonal functions, melodic and harmonic ornaments, basic conceptos of composition.
Melodic and rhitmic Solfeggio, scales, intervals, chords, rhytm recognition and writing. Among other things, classes can addapt to the students need.
Some of the Bibliography: Ropartz, Pozzoli, Gartenlaub, Felix Sierra, Hindemith, Melo Castillo, Schoemberg, among others.
