About Alex
I am a recent (2019) Bachelor of Psychology graduate (with first class honours) from Curtin University. During my time at uni I offered private tutoring and writing workshops for students who struggled to achieve the grades they felt they deserved. I have had a lot of great success in these sessions :)

My teaching method revolves around breaking concepts down to the base level, then building up a unique and personalised understanding gradually. I believe that in psychology, many students get caught up in trying to understand every key detail of the coursework. I have found that the greatest success comes with slowly unpacking key concepts and conceptualising them in your own way; applying them to concepts you're interested in, and developing the writing to skills to convey your understanding. I adopted this method in my studies, and with my sessions at uni.
