About Chloe
I am a passionate and supportive educator who enjoys helping children build confidence in their English skills. I believe learning should be engaging, encouraging, and suited to each child’s individual needs and learning style.
As a student teacher in Aotearoa New Zealand, I have experience working with primary-aged children and developing learning activities that support reading, writing, spelling, phonics, vocabulary, comprehension, and communication. I understand that every child learns differently, and I aim to create a positive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and celebrating their progress.
I am patient, reliable, and enthusiastic, and I take pride in building positive relationships with students and whānau. My goal is not only to improve English skills, but also to help children develop the confidence and motivation to become independent learners.

I have worked with many literacy programs such as BSLA, Jolly Phonics, Little Learners Love Literacy, and have delved into specific ways to help teach my own two AuDHD children.
I like to work with the child's strengths to find the best way to help them learn and feel successful. Everyone learns at their own speed.
I have been a qualified Learning Assistant for the past 7 years, and I am over halfway through my studies to become a qualified teacher.
I work with learners aged 5 to 8 (years 1-4), neurodiverse learners, or learners who are struggling to understand reading or writing. I like to get as much information as possible before we start so I know what has worked, what hasn't, and how I can best support you and your child's learning journey.
