About Connor
I am a professional aviation instructor with real teaching experience in a college aviation program, where I lead structured coursework for student pilots working toward their private pilot goals. My instruction is based on FAA standards and real-world aviation practices, not informal or unverified material.
Students can expect a serious, organized, and safety-focused approach to tutoring. I don’t just “help with answers”—I teach the reasoning behind aviation concepts so students actually understand and retain what they need for exams, checkrides, and real flying situations. With over 1100 hours in airplane and 850 hours of those teaching new students.
Because I also work in an academic aviation environment, I’m used to teaching a wide range of students at different skill levels and adapting material so it’s clear and practical. My goal is to make sure every student builds confidence, competence, and professionalism in aviation from the ground up.

I’m patient, easy to work with, and I adjust my teaching style based on how someone learns best—whether that’s visual, step-by-step, or scenario-based. I also focus on the “why” behind things, not just memorization, so students actually retain the information when it matters in the air.
Most importantly, I take feedback well and I’m always looking to improve how I teach. My goal isn’t just to help someone pass a test, but to help them become a safe, confident, and capable pilot.
