I have taught every subject, but specialize in early literacy skills, from phonemic awareness, decoding, and encoding to essay writing. I particularly enjoy English spelling, language, mechanics. I also specialize in writing opinion, narrative, and expository essays. I have taught first, second, and fourth grades for 21 years.
