About Vinnie

I have a BFA from the University of Utah where I studied ballet pedagogy and character dance. My professional career has taken me all over North America and Europe including France, Spain, Greece, Ukraine, Mexico and the UK.
In my professional career I danced with both classical and contemporary ballet companies with the majority of my time dancing in the San Francisco Bay Area. I have been coaching dancers for over ten years. This has included working with elite competition schools, assisting in video auditions and performance or exam preparation. My choreography has won awards at major dance competitions including California Dance Classics and Spotlight Dance Cup and I have choreographed professionally on companies around the Bay Area.

About the lesson

With a mixture of Russian and ABT pedagogies I work with the whole dancer to maximize your potential. I am happy to work with any level of dancer to bring out your own strengths and help you meet your goals. Whether you want to standout at your next competition or audition, or you're just trying to improve your own weaknesses I would love to work with you. I use a variety of conditioning techniques along with ballet or contemporary dance vocabulary to figure out weaknesses and make them strengths. I can also work with you to choreograph your next contemporary or ballet solo!
