About Rehana
After being involved in the arts since before middle school at a performing arts school, I auditioned and was accepted into DeKalb School of the Arts as a dance major. There, I have danced with choreographers like Hannah Victoria and Patrick Smith. I starred as Clara in The Nutcracker and have two years of pointe training. In my sophomore year, I was a dance GHP semi-finalist. Every summer, I participate in intensive training; this year, I will be dancing with the Black Artist Dance Collective. After auditioning and being accepted, next school year I will begin my training with my school’s dance repertory company

As a 16-year-old dance instructor with expertise in ballet, jazz, contemporary, and modern dance, my lessons are designed to be dynamic and engaging, tailored to meet the needs of young dancers. Each class begins with a thorough warm-up and stretching session to prevent injuries and improve flexibility, followed by technique training to build strong foundational skills. Students will also learn and practice choreography, encouraging creative expression and performance preparation. My classes offer a fun, supportive environment, making dance an enjoyable and enriching experience. As a young dancer at a performing arts high school, I bring passion, relatability, and a fresh perspective to teaching, ensuring students receive high-quality, contemporary instruction.
