About Barbara

I’m a 39-year-old Italian woman and I moved to London 5 years ago. I have a strong educational background and years of experience in teaching and translating. Following Scientific High School, I graduated from the University of Naples having studied law, and specialising in forensics and criminology. During my studies, I worked assisting young students in learning subjects including Italian Literature, Latin, Philosophy, History and then preparing them for their final exam. Upon graduation, I moved to Rome. I worked as a legal assistant with a criminal law firm, and for the purpose of keeping up to date with the most recent law and regulations, I had a second job preparing University students in Law for their exams and assisting them with their studies. Since I moved to London in 2014, I worked as a Legal Documents Translator for 3 different Italian Law Firms and I have occasionally been teaching Italian language for a total of 4 students so far. Barbrara was an excellent tutor and very flexible with her schedule. She thought me basic Italian before I went on a 3 month stay there for work. We spoke every day Italian and she always available on the phone if I had a question. My work trip was hugely successful due to my time spent with Barbara and her guidance while I was working in her wonderful country.
