About Ana

I am currently a university student in Canada working on my Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics. I also hold a college diploma in Business Administration. Through my experiences, I have built up an understanding of the teaching and learning styles that work, as well as the ones that don't.

Every learner is different, and I strive to provide an educational experience that is rewarding, thorough, and practical. I'm flexible, so I can work with your learning style (whether it's visual, verbal, or auditory), as well as with your schedule.

Your success is important to me, but so is your enjoyment of the course. Learning a new skill should never feel degrading because of your lack of experience in the subject. Learning should be fun! Therefore, if given the opportunity, I will work hard to ensure you not only survive, but also thrive in my class.

About the lesson

I am mostly experienced with oil and acrylic painting on canvas. I have done work in gouache as well, but on a smaller scale. My goal is to perfect my craft and spread my love for impressionist, post-impressionist, and classic art to students of all ages and skill levels. My lessons will be live and online so you can paint from the comfort of your home. However, you can also simply watch the recorded tutorials I will provide every week.

Classes are currently CLOSED. Lesson requests will be taken for the WINTER TERM (class start date TBD).

Class Requirements:

My classes are not limited to any specific background or age. You don't need a degree or a special educational background. I only work from home, so our live classes will be online. Some lessons may even be pre-recorded so you can take them with you wherever you go.

I don't expect you to be perfect, but I only ask that you do your best and be honest with your progress. I am here to help you succeed, and the journey to success can be very fun! If there's anything you need to understand the material better, just let me know!

The first free lesson with Ana will allow you to get to know each other and clearly specify your needs for your next lessons.

Details

We will have 60 minutes on orientation day, but afterwards, classes will take up to 2 hours long (depending on the day's subject and itinerary).

Classes will be held online over Zoom meetings twice a week. However, you can also sign up for a lecture package (for example, 5hrs for $75) twice a month. You can choose how you learn!
