I am a deeply dedicated, empathetic, and organised educator with a profound love for literature, creative writing, and poetry. My background combines high academic achievement (including a GCSE grade 8 in English Literature) with high-tier placements at Penguin Classics and the BBC. As a Prefect, House Captain, and Primary School Teaching Assistant, I specialise in mentoring younger students by creating a calm, encouraging, and supportive learning environment. I am highly attuned to the individual emotional and academic needs of my students. I understand that learning can sometimes feel overwhelming, which is why my approach focuses on building confidence at a patient, structured pace. Guided Reading & Comprehension: Drawing from my vast reading repertoire—from classic novels to historical texts—I help students improve their reading stamina, pronunciation, and deep comprehension skills. Having served as a primary school teaching assistant and a peer tutor, I excel at breaking down complex concepts into simple, digestible steps.
