About Miriam
English is a language that brings so many opportunities. We need it for our jobs or for our studies. It can take you anywhere!
But, just because it's important, doesn't mean it has to be boring!
I teach English because I want to help my students have new possibilities AND to enjoy the learning process. I want my students to be independent in communicating in English and to be confident at the same time!
Three ways that I achieve that in teaching are:
- Focusing on accuracy.
Was the grammar right? How can we say it better?
- Using everyday English in real-life situations.
What do native speakers say? Formal vs. informal?
- Games and activities.
Anything that helps you remember new words, learn quickly, and have fun.

The length is flexible depending on availability. Most students take 1-2 hours, but it is your choice!
Who are the lessons for?
Anyone who wants to speak English like a native! I mostly teach adults, but I can also provide homework help for kids.
Why English?
English is important for so many jobs and opportunities. But it doesn't need to be boring! I believe that people learn faster when they love the language so I do everything I can to make the lessons fun.
Why me?
I am CELTA qualified (Cambridge) and have experience teaching adults, kids, beginners and advanced.
I am also a native speaker with a clear British accent.
