• Tell us more about your subject. How did you develop an interest in this field?

  Digital Marketing has revolutionized the way businesses operate today. Reflecting on the past, I recall a time when offline promotions dominated, with banners and outdoor print media serving as primary advertising tools for local business owners, including those in my community. As someone with a keen interest in enhancing local businesses' success, I observed a significant gap in traditional advertising - its high cost and lack of measurable effectiveness left much to be desired. This sparked my quest for a more cost-effective and measurable marketing solution.
  Discovering Digital Marketing, which was thriving in the American market at the time, was a turning point for me. Recognizing its potential, I delved into mastering its tools and strategies. Digital Marketing not only provides a more economical way to reach audiences through platforms like Google, Facebook, and YouTube but also offers precise tracking of campaign results. This ability to measure effectiveness in real-time sets digital marketing apart, democratizing access to effective advertising compared to traditional methods.
  
  Over the past decade, I've witnessed Digital Marketing grow exponentially in India, becoming a pivotal force in transforming how businesses connect with consumers. Embracing this industry has allowed me to empower numerous businesses with practical and measurable marketing solutions. Looking ahead, I am excited about the continued evolution of Digital Marketing and the opportunities it brings for businesses to thrive in an increasingly digital world.

• What or who is the motivation behind you choosing to teach & why?

  The driving force behind my motivation stems from observing the current vulnerability and lack of acceptance towards digital marketing and other growth marketing tools among the audience. Many individuals are unaware of the transformative power these tools hold, and the potential for exponential growth they offer when applied effectively in businesses or careers. I firmly believe that individuals should be evaluated based on how adeptly they utilize these current techniques and tools, rather than being judged for what they haven't yet learned.
  Everyone has the right to access information worldwide, and it's crucial that no one is misled into thinking that there are hidden secrets in the digital marketing or growth marketing industry that alone can solve their challenges. Instead, success lies in the skillful application of freely available principles. It's about understanding and masterfully executing these strategies to achieve tangible results. This perspective underscores my belief in empowering individuals with knowledge and practical skills, ensuring they can leverage these powerful tools to drive meaningful growth and success in their endeavors.

• How does your work help society?

  What I aim to achieve through my course is twofold: first, I seek to foster acceptance among my audience regarding the need to overhaul their current strategies and tools in business or careers. Many are operating under outdated paradigms that require a re-evaluation and reverse engineering of processes, structures, and approaches to propel themselves to new heights of success.
  Secondly, I aim to instill in people the practice of asking the right questions. Often, individuals are focused solely on finding answers to their problems without critically examining whether they are asking the most pertinent questions in the first place. This shift in mindset is crucial for driving meaningful change and innovation.
  
  By accomplishing these objectives, I believe I can effectively leverage my decade-long expertise in this field to make a substantial impact. My goal is to contribute positively to society by empowering individuals and businesses to break free from outdated practices and embrace transformative strategies that lead to sustainable growth and success.

• If you had to think of a role model for your work, who do you think of & why?

  My role model and mentor in the field is Dan Kennedy, whose groundbreaking concepts in direct marketing have revolutionized the industry. His approach has not only influenced countless marketers but has also profoundly impacted my own thinking. Prior to discovering direct marketing, I viewed digital marketing and growth marketing as overly technical and inaccessible to those without specialized knowledge. However, Kennedy's teachings revealed to me that this perception was a collective failure within the marketing community - an intentional complexity that restricted the democratization of tools and strategies.
  Kennedy's insights made me realize that digital marketing can be understood and effectively utilized by a broader audience, not just technical experts. His teachings have made me more discerning and insightful in this field, empowering me to navigate and implement strategies that drive meaningful results. I am deeply grateful to Dan Kennedy for broadening my perspective and imparting invaluable wisdom that continues to shape my approach to marketing and business.

• Tell us about your hobbies outside teaching.

  Outside of my professional endeavors in Digital Marketing and Growth Marketing, I dedicate a significant portion of my time to various enriching activities. Spending quality time reading books is a passion of mine, as it allows me to continuously expand my knowledge and perspectives.
  My family holds a special place in my life, and I cherish every moment I spend with them, especially with my small toddler who brings immense joy and takes me to a different world altogether.
  
  To maintain balance and enhance my well-being, I prioritize daily sessions of Yoga and Meditation. These practices not only rejuvenate me but also fuel my enthusiasm and drive to excel in my field.
  
  Additionally, I am an avid movie buff and enjoy indulging in movies and web series whenever I find a moment. This leisure activity not only provides entertainment but also serves as a source of inspiration and relaxation.
  
  By nurturing these varied interests and commitments, I strive to maintain a well-rounded lifestyle that supports both personal fulfillment and professional success.

• Do you have an anecdote to tell us about your student or professional life?

  I'd like to share a simple fictional tale with you. There once lived a man who, despite his poverty, was exceptionally hardworking and innocent. One day, overcome with financial despair, he found himself crying by a lake. Suddenly, a mermaid emerged from the water and inquired about his tears. The man poured out his heart, sharing all his troubles with the mermaid. Moved by his plight, the mermaid decided to help him. She handed him a small box and instructed him that if he wished for money, he need only say, "Give me money," and a voice from the box would respond with, "Here is your money," followed by coins.
  
  The mermaid then disappeared. The man took the box to his humble home and tested it immediately. To his astonishment, upon requesting money, the box produced a thousand coins. From that day forward, the man's life changed completely.
  
  One day, his friend noticed his newfound prosperity and inquired about its source. The man revealed the secret of the magical box. Intrigued and also facing financial hardship, the friend asked to borrow the box for a day, promising to return it promptly. Reluctantly, the man agreed, emphasizing the importance of the promise.
  
  However, when the friend experienced the box's magic, he became overwhelmed with joy and forgot his commitment to return it. Distraught, the man returned to the lake, tears streaming down his face, and recounted the betrayal to the mermaid. Understanding the depth of his friend's greed, the mermaid gave the man another box, explaining that this one would only produce the sound of coins when asked for money.
  
  Back at home, the man tested the new box, asking it for money. Instead of coins, it only emitted a loud noise mimicking the sound of coins. The noise was so distinct that his friend, hearing it from afar, rushed to the man's house. Assuming the man had received a larger, more powerful box from the mermaid, the friend pleaded to exchange boxes for a day, once again promising to return it. His friend, eager for wealth, used the large box expecting coins but only heard the noise it made. He soon realized his mistake and regretted his actions deeply.
  
  This story illustrates the difference between the two boxes: the small box provided real returns quietly, while the big box only made noise without delivering anything tangible. It serves as a reminder that genuine success in marketing, as in life, comes from knowledge, skill, and the ability to deliver real value rather than merely creating a facade of success through empty noise.
