About Tirza

I am a guitar instructor with 11 years of teaching experience and a Bachelor of Music in Classical Guitar. I have a deep love for writing and arranging guitar music, and I enjoy sharing that passion with my students. My teaching approach is student-focused, encouraging, and tailored to each individual’s goals.

I specialize in scales, modal playing, rhythm training, and songwriting, helping students build both technical skill and creative expression. I also emphasize stage confidence, preparing learners to perform comfortably and expressively. My experience includes mentoring intermediate to advanced students, including those pursuing professional music careers.

Lessons are designed to balance structured practice with exploration, improvisation, and personal expression. I guide students through musical challenges while celebrating their progress at every step. My goal is to help each guitarist develop a unique style and strong musical foundation.

About the lesson

My guitar teaching approach is designed to help students grow as versatile musicians while having fun. I focus on building strong technique, musical understanding, and expressive playing. Lessons cover various styles including acoustic, electric, jazz, blues, and fingerstyle.

I work closely with students who are passionate about fingerstyle or recording, helping them refine tone, timing, and arrangement. Lessons include exercises for creativity, improvisation, and composition. We explore layering techniques to build rich textures and dynamic performances.

Each lesson is tailored to individual goals and learning pace. I focus on practical applications so students can perform confidently and produce music independently. By combining traditional methods with modern tools, students grow both technically and creatively. My goal is to help every guitarist unlock their full potential and enjoy making music in any setting.
