Deadly! I took a trial lesson with Mariko-sensei, after studying Japanese on a off for a long time, but knowing I still have huge gaps in my knowledge and understanding. Within the framework of just the introductory lesson, Mariko-san who was very friendly and welcoming, and clear. She gave me the space to introduce and talk about myself and discuss some basic topics. She was very patient with my very rusty, spoken Japanese, and also was able to explain to me the nuances of certain grammar and words, and kindly correct me where necessary. Being very nervous about my spoken Japanese, Mariko-san was able to put me at ease immediately, and I was able to really enjoy the lesson. I look forward to the next ones hopefully.

Deadly! Mariko is an excellent teacher. She's very patient, listens to your concerns and tries to make the lessons as simple as possible so you can understand. I would definitely recommend her and I'm taking more lessons with her.
