About María José

I have over 14 years teaching. I've had students of all levels from basic to professional, many with the simple goal of keeping fit, and some with intention to dedicate to dance professionally. All of them have found a chance to enjoy dancing throughout their learning process, being an active part of it from the beginning.

About the lesson

I am a Bellydance teacher for all kinds of women, from basic to professional. My methodology is based in a constant student participation in class, through active listening to their body, stroke awareness, musicality and respect for their own learning pace. For this I combine the technical part (adapted to every woman, regardless of age or physical condition), with expression, so that the evolution in class is progressive and comprehensive. My classes include a warm-up, technical work of movements and sequences, and expressive work associated with the style, finishing with stretching and relaxation.
