About Jami
"Five bands and 5 records define my sound. These days, I teach guitar with a perspective rooted in 13 years of touring the West Coast. My Bachelor of Music in Industry provides the framework for my lessons.
I focus on rhythm guitar, fingerpicking, and scales. Reading sheet music and tabs is central to my method. We will cover chord transitions, modes, and power chords alongside maintenance. My approach remains casual because music should feel like playing, not like a chore."

"Focusing on the gear and the vibe matters more than just memorizing theory. Most players assume that 6 strings are enough, but we analyze how Jimi Hendrix used every inch of his instrument to create space.
I draw on my degree from Belmont University to explain the industry side of those iconic tones. Instruction includes songwriting shortcuts and grade exam prep for those who want structure.
You will find that my experience playing across the West Coast informs how I teach rhythm and tone problems. I bring my obsession with vintage rock history to every single meeting. It reminds me why I picked up the guitar in the first place."
