About Katherine
I am a recent graduate from University of California, Berkeley, one of the top universities worldwide, with a degree in Psychology and minor in Creative Writing. As such, I have gathered plenty of experience in different writing styles, including scientific, academic, and creative. I have also won multiple scholarships nationally and locally, and thus have plenty of practice writing the relevant essays to admissions or scholarships. I've worked with anywhere from young children to peers my age over the years, and am excited to help you out just the same.

Thanks for choosing me! We'll work together to start, practice, and polish off your essay/creative writing skills— in the way you want. In our first meeting, we'll talk about:
1. What your goals for the essay or creative piece are
2. What standards (if any) your work is being held to
3. How you prefer to receive and what you need out of feedback to get the most use out of it
4. Establishing a system for accountability
5. How to make the process enjoyable and productive for you!
From there, we'll use those details to establish a lesson plan that works so I can meet you where you are, not the other way around. I can work with anywhere from middle school to university level students! See you soon!
